Wedding Shoot at The Pointe

Rustic, Vintage Charm

When Laura asked me to do a styled shoot with her, I was ecstatic! Not only because she is so talented, but because this shoot would allow me to show the diversity in my designs. The idea behind the shoot was to create a Vintage and Rustic environment with the expression of genuine love. This environment would be full of natural light, colors, and foods along with the chemistry of a real couple. The idea was to create a truly natural feeling shoot that expresses the raw love of the couple.

May this shoot warm your heart and Thank You to everyone that participated!

A Glamorous Affair

with The Belle of Louisville

This shoot was so much fun to design with the glamorous bride in mind. She is a lover of all things glitz and glam with attention to detail and unique touches. For example, we included Belle of Louisville shot glasses, wooden whistles, and coasters for guests to take as favors. So, sit back, relax, and take some time and check these photos out!

May this shoot cause you to find your inner glamazon and Thank You to everyone that participated!

21c Museum Hotel

"Modern, Wild, Romantic" Styled Wedding Shoot

This shoot was inspired by the local, wild, and artistic venue of 21c Museum Hotel and today's couple. The designers worked hard to convert their passions to art and I wanted the themes of the venue to be reflected in our wedding design. I love to take elements that are attributed to my location, couple, and venue and add to the vision along with my spin on it. For example, the cotton candy came into play because Proof on Main gives it to customers post-meal and event-goers at 21c are given the menu to select from rather than the typical catering menu. Regarding the colors and theme, I decided to draw inspiration from Pantone's 2017 Home + Interiors collection palette called "Acquired Taste." But what made the "Wild, Modern, Romantic" vision really come to life were the flowers, the soft hair and makeup, along with the dress from Modern Trousseau. The idea was to create an invitation suite the looked modern, combine local products like those in the "welcome bag" that guests would receive, down to the sodas made right here in Butchertown. Lastly, I wanted to include guests in the shoot to give it an overall, real feel and to be different!

May this shoot be visually appealing to you and Thank You to everyone that participated!
